NDMU MedTech Students Earn National Certification in Drinking Water Sampling

GENERAL SANTOS CITY — Notre Dame of Marbel University (NDMU) continues to celebrate student achievement as Mr. John Carl C. Salvador and Mr. John Henry L. Pahilanga, second-year Medical Technology students, successfully completed and passed the Certification Course for Drinking Water Sampler conducted by the National Reference Laboratory–East Avenue Medical Center (NRL-EAMC) on June 1, 2026.


The certification program is a specialized training course designed to equip participants with the essential knowledge, technical skills, and competencies necessary for the proper collection, handling, preservation, and transport of drinking water samples for laboratory analysis. The training ensures adherence to the Philippine National Standards for Drinking Water (PNSDW) and Department of Health (DOH) guidelines, promoting the accuracy and reliability of water quality testing.


Through this accomplishment, Salvador and Pahilanga have demonstrated their commitment to professional growth and excellence in the field of Medical Technology. Their successful completion of the certification course reflects the University's dedication to providing students with opportunities for specialized training and industry-relevant competencies.
