NDMU’s Johara Aguillon Hailed as Region 12’s Most Outstanding Young Environmental Steward

A 4th-year BS Environmental Science student from Notre Dame of Marbel University, Ms. Johara L. Aguillon, was honored as the Most Outstanding Young Environmental Steward in Region 12 during an awarding ceremony held on October 8, 2025, at Cinco Niñas, Koronadal City.

The event was organized by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources – Environmental Management Bureau (DENR-EMB) Region XII, recognizing outstanding youth leaders who demonstrate exemplary commitment to environmental protection and sustainability.

Ms. Aguillon’s achievement reflects her dedication to advancing ecological awareness and action, serving as an inspiration for young environmental advocates in the region. Her recognition also brings pride to NDMU, reinforcing the university’s mission to form socially responsible leaders who care for the planet.
