Notre Dame of Marbel University (NDMU) hosted a collaboration meeting with Br. Ismael Valls, FMS, representing the Marist Learning Center in Thailand, on October 6, 2025. The meeting aimed to strengthen international Marist connections and explore potential collaborative programs between NDMU and the Marist Learning Center.


During the meeting, discussions centered on shared educational missions, cross-cultural learning opportunities, and Marist formation initiatives that align with the global Marist network’s commitment to integral human development and transformative education. Both institutions expressed enthusiasm for potential student and faculty exchanges, community engagement projects, and peace education initiatives.


University officials welcomed Br. Ismael as an esteemed guest, emphasizing NDMU’s continuing role as a Marist center of excellence in the Philippines. The visit reflected the enduring partnership among Marist institutions worldwide, united under the vision of “Making Jesus Known and Loved” through education and service.


The collaboration between NDMU and the Marist Learning Center signifies another step toward strengthening global Marist solidarity, promoting intercultural dialogue, and advancing inclusive and transformative education across borders.
