NDMU’s PHISMETS, MSO, PBO, and UAPSA Student Organizations Reaccredited by UNESCO Philippines at the International Assembly of Youth

Notre Dame of Marbel University (NDMU) — The university’s student organizations, PHISMETS, Muslim Students’ Organization (MSO), Peace Builders Organization (PBO), and United Architects of the Philippines Student Association (UAPSA) were officially reaccredited by UNESCO Philippines to participate in the International Assembly of Youth for UNESCO, held from November 21 to 23, 2025. This reaccreditation highlights NDMU’s commitment to youth leadership, cultural engagement, and community service at both national and international levels.


Representing PHISMETS (Philippines Society of Medical Technologist Students) were:


  • Dexter E. Templonuevo, RMT – Moderator

  • Nesie Faith B. Alim – Mayor

  • Aliah Jenneth Torres – Head, Committee on Special Projects, Local and International Relations (COSPLIR)


Representing the Muslim Students’ Organization (MSO) were:

  • Deng K. Mabinay Jr. – Vice President for Academics

  • Almajid M. Ansa – Vice President for Non-Academics

  • Norhaina A. Dalanda – Auditor

  • Bai Mishairah A. Santiago – CBGA Representative

  • Hasanaddin K. Kadatuan – CAS Representative

  • Abdul Hakim U. Pacalna – Representative

  • Sittie Hania I. Ibrahimas – Secretary


Representing the Peace Builders Organization (PBO) were:

  • Franchesca Yllaine Guanga – Past Immediate President (2024–2025)

  • Charmeah Daquina – Current President

  • Melvin Apenton – NDMU CPE-CES Coordinator and PBO Moderator


The UAPSA also joined the reaccredited delegation, further strengthening NDMU’s representation at the assembly.


During the event, Sittie Hania I. Ibrahimas and Franchesca Yllaine Guanga were recognized as Outstanding Youth Leaders of 2025, while the Muslim Students’ Organization (MSO) was honored as one of the Outstanding Student Clubs for Culture, in recognition of its promoting cultural awareness, heritage preservation, and community engagement.


The participation of these organizations underscores NDMU’s commitment to developing globally-minded, service-oriented student groups that exemplify leadership, civic responsibility, and cultural advocacy, inspiring meaningful impact on both campus and the wider community.
