Notre Dame of Marbel University (NDMU) continues its partnership with CTI Engineering Inc. for the ongoing Dike Project in the Ala River Basin, funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and implemented by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).

For this year, NDMU is tasked with the updating and validation of data from the 2024 census, tagging, and socioeconomic survey previously conducted as part of the project’s preparatory phase. The research team began its activities with training of field supervisors and enumerators, followed by public consultations held in the barangays of four municipalities in Sultan Kudarat, namely, Lambayong, Isulan, Esperanza, and Bagumbayan, and proceeded with data validation starting October 3.

The project is headed by Mrs. Sheila Roma, representing NDMU’s continuing commitment to evidence-based community research and active collaboration with government and development partners.
