NDMU Accountancy Faculty Excel in National Teacher Certificate Program, Secure Top Honors

Manila, Philippines - Four faculty members from the Accountancy Department of Notre Dame of Marbel University (NDMU) achieved remarkable success in the Teacher Certificate Program (TCP) offered through the partnership of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) and Colegio de San Juan de Letran.
During the culmination ceremony held at the PICPA House in Manila on June 20, 2026, three NDMU faculty members were recognized among the program's top-performing graduates:




Leading the honorees was Jennifer S. Era, CPA, DBA, who ranked Top 1 with an outstanding General Weighted Average (GWA) of 99.50%. She was followed by Khrystianne Paul de Pedro, CPA, MBA, who secured Top 2 with a GWA of 98.75%, and Mark Edzon A. Bello, CPA, MBA, who placed Top 7 with a GWA of 97.75%. Also completing the program successfully was Michelle F. Capistrano, CPA, DBMIS, further demonstrating the department’s commitment to professional growth and academic excellence.
Administered by the PICPA Committee on Faculty Development and Research and the PICPA Foundation in partnership with Colegio de San Juan de Letran, the Teacher Certificate Program was conducted from January to June 2026. The program equipped accounting educators with advanced pedagogical knowledge, instructional strategies, and teaching competencies essential for effective classroom instruction and academic leadership.

This achievement highlights the dedication of NDMU's Accountancy faculty to continuous learning and excellence in education. Their success not only brings honor to the University but also strengthens its mission of providing quality, competent, and transformative education to future professionals.
