Notre Dame of Marbel University pays tribute to the journey of Batch 2026 through a special testimony video highlighting the voices, memories, and aspirations of its graduating students.

Released following the Commencement Exercises held on April 11, 2026, the video serves as a reflection of the graduates’ years of formation within the University. Before the titles they will soon carry—engineers, teachers, psychologists, professionals, and leaders—the members of Batch 2026 share a common identity: they were first formed as Marists.

Through heartfelt testimonies, graduates look back on the challenges, growth, friendships, and meaningful experiences that shaped them during their time at the University. Their stories highlight how the Marist educational environment nurtured not only academic excellence but also character, faith, and a commitment to service.

One testimony that resonated deeply with the graduating class came from Leo Cezar Nebreja, who reflected on the lasting impact of their Marist formation:

“Later on, I will be called by different names and will take on many roles. But no matter where I go or who I become, I will always remember the first place where I was formed. Because before I was anything else, I was first a Marist.”

The tribute video stands as a reminder that beyond achievements and future professions, the graduates carry with them the values instilled during their years at Notre Dame of Marbel University—values rooted in faith, integrity, excellence, and service.

Before anything else, they were first Marists.

The production of the tribute video was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the University’s creative and administrative team. Visual and media design were led by GM Guisinga (Alumni), Christian Templonuevo, and Gerald Ruplo, with voice performance by Philip Jay Leaño (Alumni). The project was produced by the Quality Assurance, Admissions, Promotions, and Scholarships Office, with production support from Franchesca Yllaine B. Guanga (Promotions Officer) and Arthur D. Lao (BSBA Marketing 4). Special acknowledgement is also given to Dr. Wilter C. Friales, Director of the Quality Assurance, Admissions, Promotions and Scholarships Office and Director of the Student Affairs and Development Office, for his guidance and support in bringing the project to fruition.
