Koronadal City, South Cotabato — A representative from Notre Dame of Marbel University (NDMU) has successfully completed the Capacity Building Program for Assessors of Higher Educational Institutions Applying for Center of Excellence (COE). This comprehensive program, organized by the Teacher Education Council (TEC), was designed to train and empower potential assessors with the competencies required to evaluate institutions aspiring for COE recognition.

The training focused on strengthening participants’ knowledge and evaluative skills in institutional assessment, quality assurance, and academic benchmarking. It also aimed to ensure that assessors uphold objectivity, excellence, and integrity in evaluating higher education institutions, thereby supporting the continuous improvement of teacher education programs nationwide.

NDMU expressed its gratitude to the Teacher Education Council for spearheading this initiative and for its unwavering commitment to advancing quality education in the Philippines. The university likewise acknowledged the opportunity to take part in this national effort that aligns with its mission to uphold Character, Competence, and Culture—a hallmark of Marist education.

This milestone underscores both TEC’s and NDMU’s shared goal of elevating the standards of higher education and nurturing a generation of educators equipped to lead with excellence, faith, and service.
