KORONADAL CITY, South Cotabato — As part of its continuing commitment to innovation, sustainability, and long-term campus development, Notre Dame of Marbel University (NDMU) has officially opened the Master Site Development Plan Design Competition, a landmark initiative that will help shape the University's vision for the next decade.

The competition, spearheaded by the NDMU Architecture Department, invites Architecture students and graduates to contribute their ideas in developing a comprehensive 10-Year Master Site Development Plan for the University. Through this initiative, NDMU seeks creative and forward-thinking proposals that will guide the transformation of its campus into a future-ready, climate-responsive, inclusive, smart, and distinctly Marist learning environment.

Registration began on August 19, 2026, and is currently ongoing until August 30, 2026, at 11:59 PM.

Open exclusively to NDMU BS Architecture students and Architecture graduates, the competition provides participants with a unique opportunity to apply their architectural knowledge and design skills to a real-world project that may influence the future physical development of the University. Entries may be submitted individually or by teams and must be developed in collaboration with at least one licensed Architect.

To recognize excellence in design and planning, NDMU has allocated the following cash prizes:

  • Champion – ₱30,000

  • 1st Runner-Up – ₱25,000

  • 2nd Runner-Up – ₱20,000

  • 3rd Runner-Up – ₱15,000

  • 4th Runner-Up – ₱10,000

The Master Site Development Plan Design Competition reflects NDMU's vision of engaging its own students, graduates, and future professionals in shaping the University's growth and development. By placing the creativity and expertise of its Architecture community at the forefront, the University hopes to generate ideas that embody both innovation and the enduring values of Marist education.

Spearheaded by the Architecture Department and supported by the University, the initiative serves as a testament to NDMU's belief that the best people to help design its future are those who have learned, grown, and built their aspirations within its campus.

Design the Campus. Shape the Future.
