Notre Dame of Marbel University (NDMU) continues to strengthen its presence in the global academic community as its faculty members and administrators actively participated in the 9th Future of Education International Conference 2026, held in Bangkok, Thailand.

The international conference gathered educators, researchers, and academic leaders from various countries to share innovative research, best practices, and emerging trends in education, fostering collaboration and excellence in teaching and learning.

Among the distinguished participants was Dr. Wilter C. Friales, Vice President for External Affairs, who served as a Conference Judge, contributing his expertise in evaluating scholarly presentations and recognizing outstanding research contributions. His appointment reflects the trust and recognition accorded to NDMU’s academic leadership within the international education community.

From the College of Engineering, Architecture, and Computing, Engr. Rolly S. Tambe, MSCE, Dean of the college, presented his research titled, “Digital Transformation of Civil Engineering Capstone Education: A Four-Year Analysis of Purposeful Technology Integration in NDMU Student Research.” The study explored the role of purposeful technology integration in enhancing engineering education and student research outcomes.

He presented the research, “Predicting Licensure Examination Success: The Role of Academic Achievement, In-House Review, and Mock Board Performance among Education Graduates,” offering valuable insights into factors influencing licensure examination performance and academic success.

Adding to NDMU’s achievements, Angelo M. The participation and accomplishments of NDMU’s faculty members and administrators demonstrate the University’s unwavering commitment to academic excellence, research innovation, and global engagement. Their contributions not only elevate the University's reputation but also reinforce its mission of forming competent professionals and transformative leaders who contribute meaningfully to society.
