On April 29, 2026, a group of Computer Engineering students from Notre Dame of Marbel University recently had the opportunity to visit the Department of Computer Engineering under the Faculty of Engineering at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) in Thailand. The visit was joined by students from Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, and Computer Science, creating a diverse and collaborative learning experience.

Accompanying the group were Engr. Victorino R. Tobias Jr. from the EECE Department and Mr. Vince Sabado, Program Coordinator of the Computer Studies Department. Their guidance helped enrich the visit with meaningful discussions and insights.

During the visit, the students were given a tour of the department and its various laboratories. They explored advanced facilities, observed ongoing projects, and gained a deeper understanding of how technology and innovation are integrated into academic and research environments at KMUTT.

Notably, the visit opened doors for potential collaboration between KMUTT and the Notre Dame of Marbel University Computer Engineering Department. KMUTT expressed interest in establishing a partnership focused on internship opportunities and joint research programs, which could provide students with international exposure and hands-on experience in cutting-edge technological fields.

Overall, the visit served not only as an educational tour but also as a meaningful step toward strengthening academic ties and fostering future opportunities for both institutions.
