NDMU Celebrates 1st Runner-Up Triumph at 2025 Regional Civil Engineering Students’ Quiz

Notre Dame of Marbel University takes pride in the outstanding performance of its Civil Engineering students during the 40th National Civil Engineering Students’ Quiz 2025 – Regional Elimination, held last August 23, 2025, in General Santos City.


From among 24 brilliant contenders across the region, Aaron Roy B. Corder emerged as 1st Runner-Up, bringing honor to NDMU with his remarkable achievement. Alongside him, Elmer Joeben P. Claveria and John Vincent B. Gabiazon also represented the University with passion and dedication, truly embodying the Marist spirit of excellence and perseverance.


Guiding and supporting the delegates were Engr. Rolly S. Tambe, Dean of CEAC, Engr. Melchor Famisan, BSCE Coordinator, and Engr. Wimar Bless Ramping, PICE–NDMU SC Moderator and coach, together with Engr. Arianne R. Recto and Engr. Luke Mark Culili, who dedicated their time in tutoring and mentoring the participants to ensure their strong preparation.


This milestone is a testament to the competence and commitment of NDMU Civil Engineering students and mentors, proving once more that Marist civil engineers stand tall as champions of knowledge, skill, and spirit.
