NDMU-CBGA Faculty Strengthen Innovation and Student Development Through Benchmarking at the University of Southern Mindanao

Faculty members from the College of Business, Governance and Accountancy (CBGA) of Notre Dame of Marbel University (NDMU), representing the Business Administration and Hospitality Management departments, conducted a benchmarking visit to the University of Southern Mindanao (USM) on October 13, 2026.

The visit focused on identifying best practices in business incubation, strengthening industry linkages, and exploring opportunities to enhance student development. The delegation toured three learning hubs: the USMart Technology Business Incubator (TBI), the USM High Value Crops Processing Center, and the USM R&D Display Center. These visits provided valuable insights into startup support systems, agricultural innovation, research outputs, and product development.
NDMU extends its sincere gratitude to Dr. Jalaloden B. Marohom, Head of the USM Intellectual Property, Technology Transfer, and Business Development Office (IPTTBDO), for the warm welcome, guided tour, and valuable insights shared throughout the visit.
The benchmarking activity underscores NDMU’s commitment to continuous improvement, innovation, and quality education through knowledge exchange and strengthened industry collaboration.
