Professor to handle Practices and Innovation in Public Administration
Teaching Period: First Semester SY 2025-2026, August - September 2025
Class Schedule: Weekends only
Mode of Delivery: Blended (F2F, Online and Asynchronous)
Job Specification:
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Academic Credentials
Must have a graduate degree in Public Administration, Governance, Political Science, or a related field (e.g., Development Studies, Public Policy, Organizational Studies).
Preferably a Doctorate (PhD or DPA) in Public Administration or related discipline
2. Relevant Expertise and Experience
Demonstrated knowledge in public sector innovation, reform strategies, or organizational development.
Practical experience in public administration is a strong advantage:
Work in government, NGOs, or international development organizations.
Experience with public sector modernization, digital transformation, or governance reform projects.
3. Research and Publication
Ideally has published research in areas such as:
Public sector reform
Innovation in governance
E-governance and digital public services
Comparative administrative practices
Active involvement in policy studies, consultancy, or capacity-building projects is highly valuable.
4. Teaching Competence
Experience teaching graduate-level courses in public administration, policy innovation, governance, or organizational theory.
Skilled in facilitating case-based and practice-oriented learning, since the course focuses on real-world administrative innovations.
