NDMU Medical Technology Department Awarded by DOH Region XII as Top Performing Non-LGU/NGO Partner for Second Consecutive Year at Sandugo Awards 2026

The Notre Dame of Marbel University (NDMU) Department of Medical Technology was recognized by the Department of Health (DOH) Region XII as the Top Performing Non-LGU/NGO Partner during the Sandugo Awards 2026, marking its second consecutive year receiving the prestigious recognition for outstanding support to the National Voluntary Blood Services Program.

The award highlights the department’s sustained commitment to promoting voluntary blood donation and strengthening the region’s blood supply. In 2025, the department successfully collected 594 units of blood, contributing significantly to the availability of safe blood for patients and healthcare institutions across the region.
The recognition was conferred on August 27, 2026, at The Farm at Carpenter Hill, Koronadal City, and was received on behalf of the department by faculty members Mr. Dexter E. Templonuevo and Mrs. Deireen Mae T. Lazo.
