The Notre Dame of Marbel University (NDMU) achieved a remarkable triumph at the 2025 NDEA Tertiary Meet Dancesport Competition – Modern Standard Category, with dance partners Denmark Umipig (BPED 4) and Jane Heart Cabahug (BSCS 3) securing the Champion title after delivering an exceptional and highly commended performance.
Umipig and Cabahug demonstrated impeccable synchronization, refined technique, and commanding artistry on the dance floor—qualities that set them apart and solidified their position at the top of this year’s competition. Their championship win is a testament to their discipline, dedication, and the strength of NDMU’s performing arts program.
Adding to the university’s strong presence in the event, NDMU also earned the 1st Runner-up position through the outstanding performance of Kian Stephen Guzon (BSBA FM 1) and Chloe Charisse Manatad (BPED 1). Their routine displayed impressive talent and competitive promise, contributing to NDMU’s sweep of the top awards.
