Caritas Manila YSLEP Educational Scholarship at Notre Dame of Marbel University

Caritas Manila is a non-profit organization that serves as the lead social service and development ministry of the Catholic Church in the Philippines. For more than six decades, our Youth Servant Leadership and Education Program (YSLEP) has provided college education for the poor, underprivileged but deserving youth while equipping them with leadership and Christian values formation. In NDMU it helps students in our programs for their education, youth empowerment, community building, rehabilitation and restorative justice.

APPLICANTS QUALIFICATION:

✅ Single

✅ Senior High School Graduate with a General Weighted Average of 85.

✅ Needs financial assistance

✅ Must not be a Grant-in-Aid Working Student (GIA/WS) Grantee of the School

✅ Self-disciplined: no vices such as drinking alcoholic liquors, substance abuse, smoking, gambling in any form (including computer game addiction)

✅ Age level between 18-25 years old

✅ Morally upright: lives out God’s Commandments and the teachings of the Church as manifested on the following: i.e. sacredness of sex and promotion of human dignity

✅ Socially Responsible: active member of a GKK or Parish Ministry

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS/POLICIES:

✅ Accomplished NDMU FORM for scholarship (to be given by the NDMU CMRE Office)

✅ Accomplished Caritas Manila – YSLEP FORM (to be given by the NDMU CMRE Office)

✅ Photocopy of Senior High School Report Card

✅ Photocopy of Certificate of Good Moral Character

✅Photocopy of Birth Certificate or Baptismal Certificate

✅ Certificate of Indigency from the Barangay or DSWD

✅ Photocopy of Parent’s Marriage Certificate

✅ 2 pieces of 2x2 ID picture

✅ Interview with the Screening Committee
