Job Description

 

The Benefits In-Charge is responsible for overseeing the design, management, and administration of employee benefits programs, ensuring full compliance with applicable legal requirements and university policies. He/She serves as the primary point of contact for employees regarding benefits-related inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and support. Additionally, the Benefits In-Charge collaborates closely with third-party providers to deliver comprehensive, efficient, and competitive benefits solutions that promote the well-being and satisfaction of the university community.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Implements and oversees employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.

  • Ensures compliance with local labor laws and regulations related to employee benefits

  • Collaborates with government agencies such as SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and other relevant bodies to ensure proper remittance and compliance.

  • Guides staff and faculty through benefits enrollment processes, including orientation sessions and assistance with claims and inquiries.

  • Maintains accurate records of employee benefits, enrollments, claims, and related documentation.

  • Coordinates with insurance providers and benefit suppliers to facilitate seamless service delivery.

  • Provides guidance and support to employees regarding benefits enrollment, claims, and inquiries.

  • Maintains accurate records and documentation of benefit plans and transactions.

  • Stays updated on legal and industry changes affecting employee benefits.

  • Assists in the communication and promotion of benefits programs to all employees.

  • Generates reports and analysis on benefits utilization and costs for management review.

  • Performs other duties assigned by the HR Director

 

 

Job Specification            

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Proven experience in benefits administration or HR management.

  • Knowledge of Philippine labor laws and employee benefits regulations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems.
