Job Description
The Benefits In-Charge is responsible for overseeing the design, management, and administration of employee benefits programs, ensuring full compliance with applicable legal requirements and university policies. He/She serves as the primary point of contact for employees regarding benefits-related inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and support. Additionally, the Benefits In-Charge collaborates closely with third-party providers to deliver comprehensive, efficient, and competitive benefits solutions that promote the well-being and satisfaction of the university community.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Implements and oversees employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.
Ensures compliance with local labor laws and regulations related to employee benefits
Collaborates with government agencies such as SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and other relevant bodies to ensure proper remittance and compliance.
Guides staff and faculty through benefits enrollment processes, including orientation sessions and assistance with claims and inquiries.
Maintains accurate records of employee benefits, enrollments, claims, and related documentation.
Coordinates with insurance providers and benefit suppliers to facilitate seamless service delivery.
Provides guidance and support to employees regarding benefits enrollment, claims, and inquiries.
Maintains accurate records and documentation of benefit plans and transactions.
Stays updated on legal and industry changes affecting employee benefits.
Assists in the communication and promotion of benefits programs to all employees.
Generates reports and analysis on benefits utilization and costs for management review.
Performs other duties assigned by the HR Director
Job Specification
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience in benefits administration or HR management.
Knowledge of Philippine labor laws and employee benefits regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems.
