Job Description

 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Assistant Payroll In-Charge to support our payroll operations and perform clerical duties. The ideal candidate will assist in payroll processing, ensure accurate salary disbursement, and maintain essential administrative records. This role requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll for all employees in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Verify employee attendance, overtime, and deductions to ensure correct payroll calculation.

  • Maintain and update payroll records, employee data, and related documentation.

  • Handle clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, photocopying, and document management.

  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and other administrative matters.

  • Prepare payroll reports and submit necessary documentation to relevant departments.

  • Assist in compliance with company policies and government regulations related to payroll and employment.

  • Perform general administrative duties as assigned, including scheduling, correspondence, and office support.

 

Job Specification            

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field

  • Strong knowledge of payroll procedures, tax regulations, and labor laws.

  • Proven experience in payroll processing or clerical work is an advantage.

  • Basic knowledge of payroll software and proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
