Notre Dame of Marbel University Strengthens Academic Excellence in Medical Technology Through Benchmarking Partnership with Saint Louis University and University of Baguio

The Department of Medical Technology of Notre Dame of Marbel University (NDMU) conducted a benchmarking activity with two top-performing Medical Technology schools in the Philippines, Saint Louis University and University of Baguio, on February 11–12, 2026, in Baguio City.

The delegation was composed of Mr. Ryan M. Pedregosa, Medical Technology Administrative Assistant, together with faculty members Mrs. Leny D. Balfermoso and Mr. John Michael P. Fusingan. During the visit, the team examined the institutions’ administrative structure, curriculum and instruction, faculty development initiatives, research programs, as well as their facilities and laboratory equipment.

This benchmarking activity reflects Notre Dame of Marbel University’s ongoing commitment to academic excellence, quality assurance, and the holistic development of future Medical Technology professionals.
