In celebration of World Water Day, Notre Dame of Marbel University (NDMU) once again demonstrated its commitment to environmental stewardship through its annual partnership with the Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) Region XII. On March 23, 2024, the university, through its Peacebuilders Organization, actively participated in the Simultaneous Cleanup Drive Activity spearheaded by the Ecological Solid Waste Management Section of EMB XII.
The event brought together dedicated student volunteers from the NDMU Peacebuilders Organization, Supreme Student Government (SSG), Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC), and other campus organizations. United under one goal, the participants worked hand-in-hand to clean and revitalize various areas across Koronadal City, highlighting the importance of collective responsibility in caring for the environment.
This collaborative cleanup drive is part of NDMU’s ongoing environmental initiatives and underscores its sustained partnership with EMB XII. The activity reinforces the university’s long-standing advocacy for environmental education, ecological awareness, and sustainable development, all deeply rooted in its Marist mission of integral human formation and care for creation.
