NDMU Sidlak Dancesport Varsities Contribute to Team Koronadal’s T'nalak Latin Team Formation Championship Victory

KORONADAL CITY — Members of the NDMU Sidlak Dancesport Team proudly contributed to Team Koronadal’s championship victory in the T'nalak Latin Team Formation Competition held on July 5, 2026, at the South Cotabato Gymnasium and Cultural Center.


Demonstrating exceptional skill, precision, and teamwork, Team Koronadal delivered a captivating performance that earned the top spot in the highly competitive event. Among the dancers who represented the city were student-athletes from Notre Dame of Marbel University, whose dedication and talent played an important role in the team's success.


The NDMU Sidlak Dancesport varsity members who competed as part of Team Koronadal were John Basil Bangelis (BSN 4), Jane Heart Cabahug (BSCS 4), Jazz Humprey Casa (BPED 3), Francis Azonada (BPED 3), Mekylla Francisco (BPED 2), Chloe Charisse Manatad (BPED 2), Rey Jay Manalang (BSN 2), Rikka Hallarsis (BSMT 2), Tyrone Mahinay (BPED 1), and Mariane Catolico (BPED 1).


The championship-winning routine was choreographed by Christian John A. Agustin, faculty member of the College of Education, whose expertise, creativity, and mentorship greatly contributed to the team's outstanding performance.


The achievement highlights the continued excellence of NDMU student-athletes beyond the classroom and reflects the University's commitment to holistic formation through sports, arts, and cultural engagement.
