The NDMU-Paraiso Farm proudly announces its official accreditation by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) to offer two specialized programs: Agricultural Production NC II and Organic Agriculture Production NC II. This milestone marks a significant step forward for Notre Dame of Marbel University in promoting technical-vocational education and sustainable farming practices in the region.
The accreditation allows the farm to serve as a training and assessment center, providing learners and farm workers with practical, hands-on experience in crop production, farm management, and organic methods of cultivation. Participants gain valuable knowledge and competencies that prepare them for employment or entrepreneurship in the agricultural sector.
According to the NDMU-CCC Director, the recognition from TESDA affirms the University’s mission to integrate learning, livelihood, and leadership. “This accreditation empowers our trainees to become skilled farmers and advocates of sustainable agriculture. It reflects our continuing commitment to education that transforms communities,” the Director shared.
These programs contribute to sustainable food production and local food security. Through the NDMU-Paraiso Farm’s accredited training initiatives, the University continues to cultivate a culture of productivity, responsibility, and hope nurturing both people and the planet.
