The NDMU Paraiso and Tupi Farms continue to bear fruit literally and figuratively as they nurture a diverse collection of fruit-bearing trees including jackfruit, durian, avocado, mango, and other native varieties of fruits. These farms, managed by Notre Dame of Marbel University, serve as living laboratories that combine agricultural education with environmental stewardship and food sustainability.

Each fruit tree planted represents the University’s commitment to long-term sustainability and responsible land use. The farms not only provide a steady source of fresh, nutritious and produce chemical free but also serve as training grounds where farm workers and community members engage in the cultivation, propagation, and maintenance of fruit crops using natural and eco-friendly methods. By cultivating fruit-bearing trees, NDMU contributes to reducing hunger, promoting healthy diets, and building resilient agricultural systems that benefit both the campus and the surrounding communities.

As the trees continue to grow and yield their fruits, the NDMU Paraiso and Tupi Farms stand as symbols of how education, environment, and enterprise can work hand in hand cultivating not just harvests, but also hope for a sustainable and hunger-free future.
