NDMU Marist Street Triumphs as Champion in 𝟲𝗧𝗛 Mindanao-Wide Open Hiphop Dance Competition

Notre Dame of Marbel University (NDMU) once again showcased its excellence in the performing arts after emerging as Champion in the 6th Mindanao-wide Open Hiphop Dance Competition (1st Inter-Collegiate Varsity Edition) held on July 16, 2026, at the South Cotabato Gymnasium and Cultural Center, Koronadal City. The competition was one of the major highlights of the 60th Foundation Anniversary of South Cotabato and the 27th T’nalak Festival, gathering talented collegiate dance groups from across Mindanao.

Demonstrating exceptional creativity, synchronization, stage presence, and technical skill, the NDMU dance crew delivered a powerful championship-winning performance that captivated both the judges and the audience. Their victory reflects the University's commitment to nurturing student talents and promoting excellence beyond the classroom.

The team was coached by Christian Dave S. Ignacio and trained and choreographed by Eddie “Jay-r” Melody, whose guidance and expertise played a vital role in preparing the dancers for the prestigious competition.
