Koronadal City, Philippines — Notre Dame of Marbel University (NDMU) has officially recognized the Peacebuilders Organization (PBO) as the implementing arm of the Center for Peace, Environment, and Community Extension Services (CPE-CES). The organization now leads student initiatives in peace and justice, media literacy, environmental stewardship, faith formation, and community extension programs across all colleges and departments.

A highlight of the organization’s work was the Peace Day Camp held on July 6, 2024, in Zone 4, Bula, General Santos City. Students from across the university actively participated in peace team-building activities, coastal clean-up drives, and mangrove planting, learning the importance of cooperation, fairness, and building a culture of understanding and respect.

With its official recognition, PBO ensures that all NDMU students can engage in ongoing programs that promote ethical leadership, social responsibility, and harmonious communities. The university thanks faculty, course instructors, and volunteers who support student participation and leadership in these meaningful initiatives.
