NDMU Hosts Awareness Discussion on Internationalization in Higher Education CHEDRO XII representatives share insights with NDMU administrators

Notre Dame of Marbel University (NDMU) conducted an Awareness Discussion on Internationalization in Higher Education last July 14, 2025, at the BRC Dining Hall, bringing together university administrators and representatives from the Commission on Higher Education Regional Office XII (CHEDRO XII).

The session began with an opening message from Bro. Paterno S. Corpus, FMS, EdD, University President, who emphasized the relevance of internationalization in enhancing the global competence of academic institutions.

The discussion featured two distinguished speakers: Mr. Janreve Odango and Dr. Genaro R. Andres of CHEDRO XII. Both shared valuable insights on the role of internationalization in advancing the quality of higher education, strategies for implementation, and the importance of aligning local academic goals with global standards.

The forum provided NDMU leaders with a deeper understanding of international partnerships, student and faculty mobility, and globally competitive curricula, all aligned with CHED’s framework and NDMU’s mission to Build Character, Develop Competence, and Respect Culture.

This initiative affirms NDMU’s commitment to being a responsive and forward-looking institution that prepares students and educators to thrive in an interconnected global community.
