Notre Dame of Marbel University (NDMU) proudly participated in the Marist Asian Youth Gathering (MAYG) 2025 held at Marist School of Marikina, an event that brought together young Marists across Asia as part of the 23rd General Chapter of the Marist Institute. This General Chapter carries the theme “Home for All, River of Life,” a call for inclusivity, renewal, and global communion in the Marist mission.

The NDMU delegation was composed of College student leaders Carlos Miguel D. Misperos, John Ryan B. Huqueriza, and Emmanuel II D. Nemeño, together with IBED student leaders Chastine Kate C. Panadero, Chezelle Rae P. Tamayo, Raven Andre B. Valdez, and Germilyn J. Morillo. They were guided by their chaperones Dr. Eliseo V. Villagas Jr., Mr. Mark Dennis N. Rioja, MAEd, and Mr. Lester L. Tugade, MAT. Heading the delegation was Dr. Wilter C. Friales, Director of QAPS and OSAD, and also the Director of Marist Youth in the East Asia Province.

MAYG 2025 served as a formative experience for the participants, fostering intercultural dialogue, leadership growth, and a deeper sense of belonging to the global Marist community. Through the gathering, the NDMU delegates embraced their role as pilgrims of hope and builders of bridges, echoing the spirit of the General Chapter’s vision of a Marist world that is truly a “home for all.”
