NDMU Dancesport Team Shines at National Championship, Secures Gold, Silver, and Bronze Finishes

Cagayan de Oro City – Student-athletes from Notre Dame of Marbel University showcased their talent and competitive excellence during the Philippine Sport Commission - Philippine Dancesport Federation (PSC-PDSF) 2nd Quarter National Dancesport Championship held on June 19–21, 2026, at the Limketkai Atrium, Cagayan de Oro City.

Among the notable achievers were Jazz Humphrey Casa and Mekylla Francisco, who earned Silver in the Inter-Collegiate B Latin category, along with Top 5 finishes in other Latin events.

Rey Jay Manalang and Jane Heart Cabahug captured the championship title in the Special Event 1C Standard category and placed fourth in Special Event 1C Latin.

Meanwhile, Chloe Charisse Manatad secured Bronze medals in both Grade D1 and Grade D2 Standard events, while Tyrone Mahinay and Mariane Catolico brought home a Silver medal and a Bronze medal in the Latin categories, alongside strong performances in collegiate and Under-21 competitions.

The achievements of these student-athletes reflect NDMU’s commitment to excellence in both academics and sports, bringing pride and honor to the University on the national stage.
