Job Title: COASTER BUS DRIVER

Job Status: Full-time Probationary


Job Description:


To provide safe, reliable, and timely transportation of students, faculty, staff, guests, and authorized passengers of the school/university, while ensuring the proper care, cleanliness, and safe operating condition of the assigned coaster bus.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Safely operate the school/university coaster bus according to assigned routes and schedules.

  • Transport students, faculty, staff, and authorized passengers safely and courteously.

  • Ensure the safety and proper conduct of passengers while on board.

  • Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.

  • Maintain the cleanliness, orderliness, and proper condition of the coaster bus.

  • Follow traffic laws, school/university policies, and road safety regulations.

  • Maintain accurate trip, mileage, fuel, and vehicle records.

  • Report accidents, mechanical problems, and other safety concerns immediately.

  • Assist in transportation requirements for school activities, events, field trips, and official functions.

  • Perform other transportation-related duties as assigned by management.


Job Specifications / Qualifications:


  • At least high school graduate or equivalent.

  • Must possess a valid Professional Driver’s License (PDL) appropriate for operating the assigned coaster bus. A PDL with DL Code D is preferred.

  • Preferably with relevant experience as a bus, coaster, shuttle, or school driver.

  • Knowledgeable in traffic rules, road safety, and local routes.

  • Safety-conscious, responsible, reliable, and punctual.

  • Courteous and professional when dealing with students, faculty, staff, and guests.

  • Physically fit and capable of driving for extended periods.

  • With a clean or satisfactory driving record.

  • Willing to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays when required for school activities.
