CED bags multiple awards in 2026 PAFTE XII Regional Students' Congress; champions in quiz bee, research competition

Displaying a flawless demonstration of the excellence of NDMU's College of Education, the pre-service teachers who represented the college in various competitions bagged multiple championship titles during the 2026 PAFTE XII Regional Students' Congress held at KCC Mall of General Santos City, March 14.
For Quiz Bee, Precious Joy Manalo and Jeffrey Dolojo emerged as champions. Meanwhile, Elton John Palabrica and George Mercado claimed the awards of Best Research Presentation, Best Paper and Best Speaker in the Research Presentation competition.
On the other hand, James Carl Bacongo was awarded as first-runner up in the Extemporaneous Speech competition. Consequently, CED snagged the first-runner up award in the Hip-Hop competition. For teaching demonstration, Kristian Estorque claimed the third runner-up award.
Alongside the various competitions, the pre-service teachers also immersed themselves in insightful plenary sessions about the Department of Education's hiring process for beginning teachers and strategies to pass the licensure examinations.
