The student welfare board is composed of the five Collegiate Presidents, the SSG President, two faculty representatives, two administrators, and the Director of Student Affairs as Chairman.
They will discuss development programs of students and make recommendations for the specific office concerned.
It also functions as the consultative body regarding policies pertaining to students and make proposals for development and revisions of these policies if necessary, to the administration.
The best example for this latter function is the revision of the student handbook. The body will frame any revisions and present them to the administration for approval.
The student welfare Board acts also as the committee which determines non-academic awards given to students during the graduation day.
The Board also determines the Most Outstanding Club/Organization annually. |
