Students with valid reasons may withdraw from enrollment within two weeks after enrollment.
No academic penalty shall be imposed for withdrawal of registration done within the prescribed period.
However, the students should follow the standard procedure.
The clearance form required of those officially withdrawing from the University is obtained from the Registrar's Office.
This form is to be completed and to be accompanied by a letter from the parents or guardians indicating the reasons for withdrawal.
If this procedure is not followed, no refund of any kind will be made and student gets a grade of NA (not attending) or F (failure) for unofficial withdrawal or dropping.
WITHDRAWAL OR DROPPING OUT FROM THE UNIVERSITY
SEMESTRAL SESSION
- If a student withdraws or drops out before the first day of the semester, he must secure the necessary clearance and pay matriculation fee only.
- If a student withdraws during the first five weeks of the semester, he must secure the necessary clearances and pay one-third of the total semestral tuition and fees.
- If a student withdraws after the first five weeks of the semester, but before the tenth week, he must secure the necessary clearances and pay two thirds of the total semestral tuition and fees.
- If the student drops out anytime after registration, (even if he never attended classes), without securing the necessary clearances, he must pay the whole semester's tuition and fees, because he is still officially enrolled in the University.
SUMMER SESSION
- If a student withdraws/drops out before the fist day of classes, he is charged only of the matriculation fee.
- If a student withdraws/drops out before the first ten days of summer session, he must secure the necessary clearances and pay one-third of the total summer tuition and fees.
- If a student withdraws/drops out after the first ten days, he must secure the necessary clearances and pay two-thirds of the total summer tuition and fees.
- If a student withdraws/drops out anytime after the registration, (even if he never attended classes), without securing the necessary clearances, he must pay the whole summer tuition and fees, because he is still officially enrolled in the University.
Students dropping out from the University must secure Clearance Form from the Registrar's Office.
The Clearance Form must be accompanied by a letter from the parents or guardian indicating the reason for dropping from the University.
UNPAID ACCOUNTS
Students with unsettled accounts will be denied enrollment until these accounts have been paid. The school reserves the right to withhold enrollment if relatives of the applicant, such as parents, brothers or sisters, have accounts unless such are assumed by the applicant.
VALIDATION OF OFFICIAL RECEIPT
Payments for school charges are valid only if made to the Business Office and duly covered by a validated official receipt.
