Objectives:
- To provide students with opportunities to plan and work together towards a common goal;
- To provide students the opportunities to develop their talents and interest;
- To provide students the opportunities to faster friendship;
- To provide students with opportunities for leadership and cooperation as well as participation in enfleshing the Mission Statement of the School.
- To make students aware of their personal worth and commitment and of the power of group in influencing attitudes and transmitting values.
These purposes, as well as the objectives of each organization, should be represented in the causes the organization supports and in the activities it sponsors.
PRIVILEGES OF THE RECOGNIZED ORGANIZATION/CLUB
- Distinction of being described in the official school bulletin;
- Coverage of their activities by the school organ;
- Accessibility to the use of school facilities; e.g. PA System, rooms, the basketball courts, blackboard, space for announcement, etc.
- Freedom to plan and carry out activities in accordance with the constitution and the objectives of the school provided they do not violate school policies.
- Privilege of scheduling meetings as long as these are not in conflict with school activities and other prearranged meetings;
- Sponsorship of programs, seminars and convocations for the student body provided the objectives are not contrary to the laws of the land.
The University does not recognize as official such meetings or activities held outside the campus without the approval of the school administration.
All clubs/organizations are required to coordinate all activities with the office of the Director of Student Affairs, or its duly designated officer to ensure that activities are reflective of their objectives and the mission statement of the school.
