The Graduate School is an integral unit in the mission of the institution. The establishments of the Graduate School is the formal recognition of the need and desire of Notre Dame of Marbel University to provide scholarly environment for both faculty and students through post-tertiary programs in education, business, public administration and information technology.

Specifically, the Graduate School aims to:

• Provide opportunities for graduate and post-graduate Christian quality education in selected disciplines.
• Upgrade educational standards by establishing linkages with regional, national and international educational associations, particularly in programs and activities;
• To promote a culture of research by providing research capabilities, by engaging in productive research relevant to the developmental needs of society, and by utilizing research data thereby contributing effectively to the advancement of knowledge.
• Establish and maintain inter-institutional and inter-departmental linkages to enhance collaborative efforts in strengthening the research program.
• Promote and support scholarship through research and publications;
• Ensure that graduate faculty are committed, academically qualified, professional and personally competent;
• Extend professional assistance in the form of consultation, training and research geared toward community development;
• Incorporate the community service component into the academic and research programs;
• Continue the development of the whole person animated by Christian values, making knowledge and competence as a duty of service.

Our Vision

The Graduate School by the year 2012 envision itself as a lead unit and a center of excellence in various programs of teaching, research and community service.

Further, it envisions itself as a lead graduate institution in the development of globally competitive leaders particularly in Mindanao-Sulu areas through:
