The objective of the College of Education is to develop the whole person animated with Christian values who possesses the knowledge and competence of a professional teacher with a sense of service and nationalism and a full appreciation for cultural diversity.
At the end of the degree program, the students should:
Have acquired the necessary knowledge in general, professional education and major fields to teach with competence and confidence their areas of concentration or specialization;
- Have developed skills in different teaching strategies and classroom management techniques;
- Have acquired skills in conducting action researches, evaluation student’s progress, utilizing educational technology, and understanding the growth, development and behavior of a Filipino child;
- Be able to work with the stakeholders in education in pursuit of academic excellence;
- Have developed the proper values, attitudes and habits required in the teaching profession;
- Manifest the charism of Saint Marcellin Champagnat and the ideals of a Notre Damian by being responsive to the needs of the community especially the poor and the underprivileged.
