Notre Dame of Marbel University also has an active intramural program. The goal of the Intramural Sports Program is to provide an avenue for the university community to have FUN! Participants enjoy exercise, develop recreational skills, learn to compete in a system of rules and establish a long term interest in social sports.
The activities do not require the training and high degree of skill associated with varsity athletics, therefore, an individual’s playing ability is not considered as important as the desire to enter into the true spirit of competition, showing fair play, team loyalty and most of all, good sportsmanship.
The Intramural Sports Program offers a variety of competitive and non-competitive activities for students, faculty and staff at Notre Dame of Marbel University.
This program provides participants with the opportunity to engage in organized individual, dual and team sports, cultural and academic.
The Intramural Sports Program receives funding through the student activity fee administered by the Supreme Student Government of the University.
These are team sports which are the hub of the Intramural Program. Five major sports are offered during the academic year.
- Sepak Takraw
These are individual sports which are also the hub of the Intramural Program. The events offered from year-to-year and by semester may vary.
The Program is always looking for potential ideas to add new activities that everyone will enjoy. If you have suggestions, please be sure to notify the Athletics office or the Supreme Student Government Activities office.
