NDMU and SEAMEO INNOTECH have entered into a partnership on the Implementation of the Excellence in School Leadership for Southeast Asia (eXCELs) and Gearing Up Responsible and Outstanding Teachers in Southeast Asia for the 21st Century (GURO 21) Courses. eXCELs and GURO 21 are Flexible Learning Courses that are delivered online for DepEd administrators and teachers respectively. In the partnership, NDMU credits an equivalent of 3 to 6 graduate units in MAEd Educational Management and PhD in Educational Management for those who will successfully complete the courses.
Five NDMU college faculty members and administrators have been identified as Flexible Learning Tutors (FLTs) namely Dr. Andres O. Magallanes, Jr., Dr. Lynou R. Zacal, Dr. Noemi B. Silva, Dr. Al F. Quillope, and Dr. Wilter C. Friales. They underwent a capability building training last June 25-26, 2016 at NDMU. Their online classes extended up to this November
2016, and their face-to-face revalida is scheduled before the end of this month.
