In upholding the commitment and mission to provide quality Christian education, the Notre Dame of Marbel University Guidance Counselors conducted a Career Guidance Orientation to various Grade 10 students of South Cotabato, North Cotabato, and Sultan Kudarat public and private high schools.

The NDMU guidance counselors, headed by the Guidance Director Mrs. Elaine N. Labiao, MAEd, RGC,
assisted Grade 10 Junior high school students in making well-informed choices and career possibilities through a
series of career guidance orientation that started on September 12, 2016.

The orientation included the K-12 curriculum and pre-registration for senior high school for school year
2017-2018. Of the 3,213 grade 10 students from South Cotabato, North Cotabato, and Sultan Kudarat, 1103 of
them signified their intention to take Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), 807 chose
Accountancy and Business Management (ABM), 1039 opted for Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS), 185 for
General Academic Strand (GAS) and 80 students preenrolled in the Sports Track.
