The Graduate School is an integral unit in the mission of the institution. The establishments of the Graduate School is the formal recognition of the need and desire of Notre Dame of Marbel University to provide scholarly environment for both faculty and students through post-tertiary programs in education, business, public administration and information technology.
Specifically, the Graduate School aims to:
Provide opportunities for graduate and post-graduate Christian quality education in selected disciplines.
Upgrade educational standards by establishing linkages with regional, national and international educational associations, particularly in programs and activities;
To promote a culture of research by providing research capabilities, by engaging in productive research relevant to the developmental needs of society, and by utilizing research data thereby contributing effectively to the advancement of knowledge.
Establish and maintain inter-institutional and inter-departmental linkages to enhance collaborative efforts in strengthening the research program.
Promote and support scholarship through research and publications;
Ensure that graduate faculty are committed, academically qualified, professional and personally competent;
Extend professional assistance in the form of consultation, training and research geared toward community development;
Incorporate the community service component into the academic and research programs;
Continue the development of the whole person animated by Christian values, making knowledge and competence as a duty of service.
The Graduate School by the year 2012 envision itself as a lead unit and a center of excellence in various programs of teaching, research and community service.

The Graduate School of Notre Dame of Marbel University is now offering Master of Arts in Education major in Educational Management , as an off-campus graduate program to the province of Sarangani. This is in partnership with the Sarangani Schools Division of the Department of Education XII.
The program aims to make the NDMU Graduate program accessible to teachers and school administrators in far-flung areas by delivering it to their “doorstep”. The curriculum content and strategies will emphasize Leadership and Management concepts relevant to becoming effective principals, academic supervisors and leaders.
Specifically, it will specially feature school accreditation under the School-based Management, preparedness for Principals’ Exam and other relevant areas of school management. The university is extending a lower, special package for tuition and fees to the enrollees of the program.
