Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)

The Electrical Engineering (EE) program is a CHED Center of Development for Excellence in South Central Mindanao, and as such, it envisions to produce professionals who are well-equipped with technical proficiency and laden with Christian values to become valuable and responsible engineers in order to contribute significantly to the advancement and progress of the local and global communities.


Objectives
Upon completion of the BS Electrical Engineering program, the graduates are expected to have:

 

  1. gained a strong foundation in basic sciences and mathematics, engineering sciences, and electrical engineering principles in order to proficiently practice the electrical engineering profession and to be responsive to the current and evolving scenario of the profession;
  2. developed the technical skills in the application of the acquired engineering principles related to planning, design, construction, operation, management , and maintenance of a power-generating equipment and/or an industrial power plant;
  3. acquired the essential knowledge and skills in conducting researches related to electrical engineering to significantly contribute to the growth and development of the profession and of the society;
  4. exemplified the professional laws and ethics and have demonstrated outstanding interpersonal skills in establishing a sound and healthy rapport with clients and the society;
  5. imbibed the value of volunteerism through collaborative engagements that cater to the needs of the society especially to the members of the cultural minority and the underprivileged; and
  6. exhibited the charism of St. Marcellin Champagnat and the university‟s core values by ensuring that all
