Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS)

The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS) aims to produce students whose skills and knowledge are solidly anchored on the concepts and theories of computing and thus enabling them to become critical in evaluating problems and providing solutions that contributes to the development needs of local, national, and international communities.

At the completion of the program, the graduates should have:

  1. acquired analytical and logical skills necessary in creating computing solutions that are relevant and responsive to the evolving technological landscape;
  2. demonstrated excellence in the practice of IT profession with a strong sense of nationalism and social responsibility;
  3. gained mechanisms to work collaboratively and effectively with stakeholders in creating computer systems that promote advancement in ICT among the small but key players in the society;
  4. developed their creativity and have exemplified perseverance and hard work in conducting researches that have significant contribution to local, national, and international computing communities;
  5. exemplified the behavior of an IT professional, inspired by the charism of St. Marcellin Champagnat and the university‟s core values; and
  6. gained social awareness and spiritual growth evidenced by their active and voluntary participation in Church activities and endeavor;
