The College Gym is the major venue for sports, general assemblies and other functions that require bigger space to accomodate a maximum of 4000 people.
Ordinarily, the gym is used for Physical Education classes, meetings or assemblies of the Supreme Student Government and the Collegiate Councils, and sports activities of clubs and organizations.
Its spacious stage is ideal for cultural presentations.
It has a built-in sound system, adequate lighting facilities and ventilation.
The underground room of the stage is used as a recreational center which could easily be converted into dressing room for major cultural shows.
The gym houses the following:
- Office of the Student Affairs
- Office of Sports and Athletics
- Fitness Center
- Physical Education Department
- Music room of the Tambuli Singers
- Canteen
- Office of the Kariktan Dance Troupe
The University Auditorium (SMC Hall)
With a seating capacity of 250, the SMC Hall is an ideal venue for panel discussions, symposia, conventions, seminars and the like.
It is located at the heart of the Science Complex, fronting the Notre Dame of Marbel University Soccer field.
It has a built-in PA system and a 20-sq meter stage with two adjacent rooms that serve as dressing rooms or stand-by area for performers. |
