University Library

The NDMU libraries offer academic resources and services in support for all the university programs and course offerings.

The main library has a collection of approximately 75,000 volumes of books and bound periodicals, pamphlets, graduate and undergraduate theses, special research collections, CD ROMS, and audiovisual materials.

It subscribes to a good number of foreign and local periodical editions.

University LibraryThe libraries endeavor to provide and maintain a strong collection capable of supporting instructional, research, and other bibliographical needs of both students and faculty.

On the other hand, the librarian provides bibliographical instruction and assistance to students on the use of library materials.

A library orientation course for all freshmen students is regularly conducted in the first semester.

The libraries adopt the open shelf system both for the general collection and periodicals.

An Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC - ATHENA) and the manual card catalog are provided to facilitate the search and retrieval of library materials.

These manual and electronic catalogs are situated at the main entrance of the library.
