ADMISSION PROCEDURES AND REQUIREMENT FOR FOREIGN STUDENT

Step 1.  A foreign student may be admitted to the University for as long they observe and recognize the Vision and Mission of the University and satisfy all admission requirements.

  1. A foreign student may be upon evaluation of records and compliance with all admission requirements by the Admission Office in coordination with the University Registrar and the College Dean.

  2. Upon admission the student applicant must submit to the University Registrar the following before enrollment:
  • Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR) indicating the student’s visa Status.

  • Official Transcript of records/scholastic records in duplicate duly authenticated by the Philippine Embassy or Consulate in the applicant’s country of origin or legal residence.

  • Five (5) copies Personal History Statement (PHS). Form is available at the Registrar’s office.

  • Photocopy of Passport pages bearing the name, photo, birth date and birthplace of student.

  • Certified true copy of the Certificate of Eligibility for Admission (CEA) issued by CHED, for students in courses or programs where restrictions exist, such as Medical Courses.

  • Police Clearance issued by the National Police Authorities in the student’s country of origin or legal residence, authenticated by the Philippine Foreign Service Post having consular jurisdiction over the place.

  • Medical Health Certificate issued by an authorized physician including standard-sized-chest x-ray.
  1. A Notice of Acceptance (NOA) has to be sought from the University Registrar’s Office after complying with the #2 requirements.

  2. An Official representative of the University may accompany the applicant to the Bureau of Immigration and Deportation to process the application for visa conversion.  The applicant shall pay immigration fees. International student applicants are strongly urged to submit the required documents to the University Registrar’s Office before enrollment.

Step 2. Upon Compliance of Step 1

  1. Present admission credentials, duly evaluated and approved by the Commission on Higher Education and the Bureau of Immigration, to the Registrar.

  2. Undergo interview with the College Dean.

  3. Take the entrance examination conducted by the Guidance Center. (Final admission to a college will depend on passing the cut-off scores required by the course).

  4. Present the following documents to the Guidance Staff for checking:
  • Honorable Dismissal

  • Informative Copy of Scholastic Record Form from the school last attended

  • Certificate of Good Moral Character

  • Photocopy of Passport (first page)

  • Photocopy of Authenticated Birth Certificate

  • 3 copies Passport- sized colored picture

  • 2 long brown envelopes
  1. Fill–out the Admission Form and Personal Data Sheet.

  2. Undergo career Guidance/Advising with the Guidance Counselor.

  3. Undergo Medical and dental Examination in the Clinic.

  4. Present the Admission Form and requirements to the College Dean.

  5. Interview with the College Dean  for enrolment.

  6. Attend the scheduled Orientation program with parents.

  7. Get an orientation attendance certificate.

* Entrance credentials of students are submitted to the Registrar’s Office upon enrolment.
